Kipya Ki? - British Council's Culture Connects Project

The collaborative project ‘Kipya ki?’ brings together emerging artists and curators from Uganda and the UK, specifically Trevor Mukholi and Ibrahim Azab. With support from FOTEA, FORMAT, and New Art City, the project aimed to curate photographers working with emerging forms of photography. The focal point was to showcase innovative ideas and visions within contemporary photography through an immersive online multiplayer exhibition hosted by New Art City.

‘Kipya ki?’ is a Connects Connects project supported by the British Council Cultural Exchange program.

The British Council Cultural Exchange program aims to encourage cultural organizations, festivals, artists, and creatives from Sub-Saharan African countries and the UK to create art, collaborate, build networks, develop markets, and share artists’ work with audiences.
